Global Mobility Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to support international employee relocations and assignments on a contract basis. This remote position works with a leading technology company to ensure seamless cross‑border moves while maintaining compliance with immigration and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employees and managers on immigration requirements, work permits, and visa processes for multiple countries.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, and HR teams to guarantee compliance with global mobility policies.
• Design and implement cost‑effective relocation packages tailored to destination countries.
• Monitor changes in international tax laws and immigration policies, updating internal guidelines as needed.
• Provide guidance on cultural considerations and best practices for international assignments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global mobility, international assignments, or relocation services.
• Strong understanding of immigration laws and visa processes across several jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with international tax compliance, tax equalization, and shadow payroll (preferred).
• Excellent project management abilities to handle multi‑stakeholder logistics.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
