Group Head – Retail Banking & Distribution

About the role

The Group Head – Retail Banking & Distribution will lead the nationwide retail banking business of a leading commercial bank in Pakistan. This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping strategy, driving growth, and overseeing the entire branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail banking strategy to increase market share and profitability.
• Lead and manage a large branch network, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and digital banking adoption initiatives.
• Oversee retail liabilities, consumer assets, sales management, and distribution channels.
• Lead business transformation projects and customer‑centric programs.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of progressive experience in retail, branch, or consumer banking.
• Significant leadership experience with a proven track record of growing large‑scale branch networks.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics or related field.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience in reputable local or international banks is preferred.
