Head of Commercial Banking Division

About the role

The Bank of Punjab is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Commercial Banking Division in Lahore. This senior position reports to the Consumer Banking Group and is responsible for driving growth, managing risk, and developing the division’s strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Commercial Banking Division business plan aligned with the bank’s overall objectives.
• Implement strategies to grow both funded and non‑funded business streams.
• Identify new business opportunities, structure proposals, negotiate terms, and determine appropriate security arrangements.
• Establish new client relationships and deepen existing ones to expand the bank’s footprint.
• Achieve defined financial and non‑financial performance targets.
• Maintain credit discipline in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations and policy requirements.
• Foster staff development, professional grooming, and capacity building within the division.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an HEC‑recognized local or foreign university.
• At least 12 years of overall experience, with a preference for 5 years of relevant banking experience.
• Age not exceeding 55 years as of July 9, 2026.
