Head of Finance & Accounts

About the role

The Head of Finance & Accounts will lead all financial and accounting functions for a leading halal gelatin manufacturer in Lahore. This senior, full‑time position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the Board and senior management to drive financial performance and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies and compliance with local and international standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and working‑capital optimisation.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, cost‑control and performance monitoring for manufacturing operations.
• Manage treasury activities, banking relationships, tax compliance and corporate finance matters.
• Evaluate investment proposals, CAPEX projects and risk management strategies.
• Drive ERP and finance digitalisation initiatives to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Build, mentor and develop the finance & accounts team, setting KPIs and career pathways.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations and corporate governance.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support long‑term strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical, communication and decision‑making skills.
