Head of Internal Audit – Hospital

About the role
The organization is seeking a senior leader to head its internal audit function within a hospital environment. This role will oversee all audit activities, ensure robust governance, and support compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a risk‑based internal audit plan.
- Lead financial, operational, compliance, and internal control audits.
- Evaluate and strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and investigate control weaknesses.
- Coordinate with external auditors and drive continuous process improvements.
Required profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
- 10+ years of internal audit experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management and financial controls.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
