Head of Products & Research

About the role

The Head of Products & Research will steer Mobilink Bank’s overall product strategy, innovation and digital transformation across retail, corporate, SME and sustainable‑finance segments. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the role is responsible for creating customer‑centric banking solutions, driving market research and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a forward‑looking product strategy aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives and market dynamics.
• Lead design, development and enhancement of innovative banking products for retail, corporate and SME customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in specialised SME products, low‑cost deposits, bancassurance and other priority segments.
• Drive digital transformation through fintech partnerships, emerging technologies and digital banking solutions.
• Develop region‑specific product roadmaps tailored to local economic conditions and customer behaviours.
• Integrate ESG principles and green‑finance solutions into the product portfolio.
• Oversee pricing, budgeting, profitability tracking and product lifecycle management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in banking product management or a related financial services field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market intelligence into actionable product strategies.
• Deep understanding of ESG, sustainable finance and green‑finance initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Track record of delivering profitable, customer‑focused products in a regulated environment.
