Homeroom Teacher – Primary Years Programme (Grade 3)

About the role

Kingston College is seeking a full‑time Homeroom Teacher for its Primary Years Programme (Grade 3) in Lahore. The teacher will lead an inquiry‑based classroom, fostering critical thinking, collaboration and creativity in line with IB PYP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver inquiry‑based lessons aligned with PYP transdisciplinary themes.
• Plan, implement and assess learning activities, maintaining classroom routines.
• Provide individualized support and monitor student progress.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and student well‑being.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Model international‑mindedness and uphold the school’s values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification or IB training is an advantage.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching in an IB school.
• Strong foundation in child development and the IB PYP framework.
• Demonstrated classroom management and differentiated instruction skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with students, families and staff.

• Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools to support teaching, assessment and communication.
