Horticulture Operations Executive

About the role

Hamdard Pakistan is looking for a Horticulture Operations Executive in Peshawar. The executive supports daily agricultural and horticultural activities, helping with plantation, nursery maintenance, plant care and field monitoring so that crops grow well and horticultural plans are implemented effectively. The role reports to senior staff, involves frequent travel across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to manage and supervise field work, and includes leading a small team of two people.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in plantation, cultivation and nursery activities to promote plant growth.
• Monitor plant health, irrigation schedules, fertilizer applications and pest control measures daily.
• Maintain accurate field records and prepare routine reports on horticultural operations.
• Support the implementation of horticultural plans and daily tasks with senior staff.
• Carry out regular field monitoring visits across Peshawar and surrounding areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Lead a small team of two members, giving guidance and ensuring collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices and safety standards.
• Help troubleshoot plant health and nursery establishment issues to improve yield quality.
• Coordinate tools, fertilizers and irrigation equipment, and suggest improvements to horticultural practices.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Botany or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience.
