Housekeeping Officer – Hospitality Management

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Housekeeping Officer to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas. The role combines supervision, scheduling, and guest service to support overall hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Develop and implement housekeeping schedules and checklists.
• Train, guide and manage a team of housekeeping staff.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Address guest complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certificate or degree preferred.
• 1‑2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with housekeeping management software (preferred).
