HR & Administration Manager (Factory)

About the role

The company is looking for a hands‑on HR professional to lead Human Resources and Administration functions at its manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day HR operations, workforce planning and supporting the continuous improvement of HR systems in a fast‑moving factory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations for a workforce of ~300 employees, including permanent, contractual and daily‑wage staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records, monitor attendance, leave, overtime and enforce workforce discipline.
• Coordinate shift‑wise manpower availability with Production and Operations, analyse staffing gaps and support productivity improvements.
• Drive recruitment for operational, technical, administrative and management positions, screen candidates, arrange interviews and conduct reference checks.
• Prepare job descriptions, manage onboarding, induction, probation evaluation and employee confirmation.
• Support the development and implementation of departmental and individual KPIs, coordinate performance evaluations and maintain related documentation.

Required profile

• Motivated HR professional comfortable working directly with factory workers, supervisors, managers and senior leadership.
• Experience in HR operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance and workforce administration.
• Ability to improve HR processes, support digitalisation and contribute to performance‑driven culture.
