HR Manager – Own the People Function at Early‑Stage AI Startup

About the role

We are looking for an HR Manager to own the entire people function at Xorora, an early‑stage AI‑focused tech startup. You will work directly with the founders, shaping recruitment, onboarding, performance, compensation and culture for a fast‑growing team.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end recruitment for engineering, product and business roles.
• Design and manage onboarding and offboarding experiences.
• Oversee contracts, payroll coordination, leave management and HR tools.
• Develop and run performance review cycles and feedback processes.
• Drive culture initiatives such as pulse checks, team rituals and off‑sites.
• Benchmark roles and build a transparent compensation framework for the Pakistan tech market.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan labour law and maintain HR policies and employee relations.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience as an HR generalist or manager, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• Hands‑on recruitment experience, not limited to coordination.
• Working knowledge of Pakistan employment law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
• Builder mindset – you create processes and improve them.
