HSE Engineer / HSE Manager

About the role

We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer / HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environment initiatives for our tanker and fleet operations in road transportation. The role involves developing policies, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with Pakistani HSE regulations and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and management systems for fleet and terminal operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, audits and regular safety inspections of vehicles, depots and loading/unloading sites.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and driver safety programmes.
• Manage emergency response, spill control drills and permit‑to‑work processes.
• Prepare HSE reports and coordinate with operations and clients on performance and improvement actions.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in transportation, trucking or tanker operations (bulk oil experience desirable).
• Knowledge of Pakistan HSE laws, tank lorry operations, HAZMAT and spill response.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HSE reporting tools.
