Human Resources Manager

About the role

As the Human Resources Manager at Vertex, you will lead all core HR functions, driving strategic initiatives that support our organizational goals. This hands‑on leadership role requires ownership of talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for technical and non‑technical positions, develop hiring strategies, and manage employer branding.
• Foster a collaborative culture through engagement programs, events, and recognition initiatives.
• Oversee performance appraisal cycles, goal‑setting, and development plans in partnership with department heads.
• Maintain HR records, attendance systems, and ensure policies are legally compliant.
• Align HR strategy with business objectives, champion diversity and inclusion, and provide analytics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of proven HR experience, preferably in IT or software development.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite during night‑shift hours to support U.S. operations.
