Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all core HR functions for Vertex, driving recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance. This senior‑level position requires a hands‑on leader who can own the HR agenda and align talent initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for technical and non‑technical roles, develop hiring strategies and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Design and execute employee engagement programs, serve as a trusted advisor on employee concerns, and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee performance appraisal cycles, goal‑setting, training needs analysis, succession planning and implement performance improvement plans when required.
• Maintain HR records, attendance systems, onboarding/offboarding processes and ensure policies comply with labor laws.
• Align HR strategy with business objectives, champion diversity and inclusion, provide HR metrics to senior leadership and support workforce planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven HR experience, preferably in the IT or software development industry.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results in hiring, retention and employee engagement.
