IFC Draftsman – 2D/3D Construction Drawings

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented IFC Draftsman to create and modify 2D and 3D construction drawings using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standards. The role is based on‑site in Rawalpindi and requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings following IFC standards for various construction projects.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to verify compliance with IFC protocols.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to gather project details.
• Maintain an organized drawing archive for easy retrieval.
• Update and modify existing drawings based on feedback from project leaders or clients.
• Participate in meetings to discuss and resolve design issues.
• Stay current with IFC standards and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in drafting or a similar role.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in CAD or BIM software is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction processes and on‑site work environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC).
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards.
