Instrument Technician (Part‑time Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time remote Instrument Technician to support the design, selection, installation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for a variety of client projects. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across engineering teams, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to high‑impact engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, select and install measurement and control devices.
• Perform calibration and metrology activities to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and provide corrective actions.
• Assist electrical engineering reviews related to sensors, transmitters and control devices.
• Configure, test and integrate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with control systems.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee reliable measurements and control.

Required profile

• Strong background in instrumentation design, selection and maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC configuration, troubleshooting and integration.
• DAE/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part‑time schedules and meet deadlines.
