Insurance & Billing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Insurance & Billing Coordinator to support a growing pediatric dental practice serving 50‑55 patients daily. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable, Medicaid check postings, claim denials, and prior authorizations while collaborating with the office manager and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex weekly Medicaid check postings into patient charts and track secondary claims.
• Handle high‑priority insurance pre‑authorizations for hospital and IV sedation cases.
• Post daily EFT payments, send secondary claims, manage patient payment tables, issue statements, and clean backlog AR reports older than 90 days.
• Use Dental Intel to flag outstanding balances and secure collections or payment plans before appointments.
• Compile and submit daily end‑of‑day reports on deposits, postings, and collections.
• Retrieve voicemails, follow up on missed appointments, manage cancellations, perform insurance verifications, and guide parents on out‑of‑network coverage.
• Contact uncare families, collect intake details, and ensure complete administrative preparation in Dentrix.

Required profile

• Must reside in Lahore or Islamabad, Pakistan.
• Fluent English communication (verbal and written).
• Flexibility to work across different US time zones.
• Proven experience with US dental billing, Medicaid check posting, out‑of‑network patient portions, and prior authorizations.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
