Interconnection Service Coordinator (Night Shift)

About the role

ibex is hiring on behalf of one of its clients for an Interconnection Service Coordinator who works the night shift. The coordinator coordinates incoming requests and work assignments to support customer orders and supports all customer demands related to interconnection.

Key responsibilities

• Review all new cross-connect install and disconnect orders for interconnection services.
• Act as the customer's advocate and engage other departments when necessary.
• Monitor the general inbox and respond to customer inquiries.
• Enter demarc/CFA information, customer billing account number and notes after reviewing each order.
• Reject orders missing required information and review the order queue so cases stay up to date.
• Escalate orders to management as needed and work with carriers to keep order data accurate.

Required profile

• Experience in high-tech, customer-facing roles such as Customer Success or Technical Support.
• Experience with telecommunications, data centers and cross-connect/interconnection products.
• Ability to read, understand and translate carrier LOAs and CFAs.
• Associate degree or three years of telecommunications/data center experience.

Required skills

• Strong communication, technical and computer skills, with good organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalents.
• Preferred: telecom provisioning, order management, carrier coordination, service delivery support, cross-connect management.
