Internal Controls Analyst

About the role

The Internal Controls Analyst will support financial and operational managers in Egypt or Pakistan to strengthen internal control environments, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to review, design, and test internal controls, including SOX and Control Self‑Assessments.
• Conduct deep‑dive risk analyses, provide advisory reviews, and support management in control testing and remediation.
• Deliver training on policies, controls, and risk frameworks to enhance governance.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and contribute to a high‑performing internal controls team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in risk and controls, preferably with Big 4 audit or FMCG background.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or CIA.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, travel as needed, and collaborate across a global organization.

Required skills

• Expertise in internal controls, SOX compliance, and US GAAP/IFRS.
• Proficiency with SAP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
