Inventory Auditor – Field Operations

About the role

The Field Inventory Auditor will travel to multiple company branches to verify physical stock, reconcile records, and ensure financial compliance. This role demands high accuracy, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently while delivering timely audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily visits to branches in different cities for on‑site inventory audits.
• Perform thorough physical stock verification and identify discrepancies.
• Create and update detailed inventory sheets after each visit.
• Track branch expenses and review supporting documents for budget compliance.
• Verify daily cash‑closing procedures to prevent financial variances.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, internal controls, and audit guidelines.
• Prepare and submit daily audit reports with findings and operational insights.
• Investigate unusual shortages or operational issues and coordinate resolutions with branch staff.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date audit records for compliance purposes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to generate reports, audit sheets, and summaries.
