IT Administrator

About the role

Flatgigs is looking for an IT Administrator in Karachi to manage the company's day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, devices, user access and technical support, keeping everything secure and reliable. The role is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laptops, desktops, networks, Wi-Fi, printers and other IT equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Set up IT equipment, accounts and system access for new employees.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace and other business applications.
• Maintain the IT asset inventory and software licenses.
• Implement basic IT security, antivirus, updates, backups and access controls.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including asset recovery and account deactivation.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT documentation, policies and support records.
• Support the CTO / Head of IT with IT projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT administration or technical support.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Windows, networking, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace and IT troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, user access management and IT asset management.
