IT Auditor

About the role

Flatgigs is hiring a full-time IT Auditor in Karachi to assess the company's IT systems, controls, processes and security practices. The role identifies risks, control gaps and compliance issues and recommends improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit IT systems, applications, infrastructure and processes
• Review IT general controls, access management, change management, backups and security controls
• Identify IT risks, control weaknesses and potential security vulnerabilities
• Review user access and ensure appropriate authorization and segregation of duties
• Assess compliance with internal IT policies, regulatory requirements and applicable standards
• Test IT controls and maintain audit documentation and working papers
• Prepare audit findings and reports with practical recommendations
• Follow up on corrective actions and track closure of findings
• Support internal, external and regulatory IT audits and coordinate with IT, Security, Compliance and other departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, risk, compliance or information security
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills

Required skills

• Good understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity, access management and risk assessment
• Familiarity with COBIT, ISO 27001 or ITGC is an advantage
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA or ISO 27001 are an advantage
