IT Engineer – Infrastructure & Support

About the role

Instaplast Private Limited is seeking a motivated IT Engineer to support its growing plastic packaging business. The role involves managing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network services, and providing technical support to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer web domains, hosting services, cloud‑based VPNs and ERP systems.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office and other software applications.
• Maintain servers, network devices, backups, imaging processes and system security.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Execute data backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Keep accurate IT asset records and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in BSIT, BSCS, BECS or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, system administration and technical support.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
• System administration and server maintenance.
• Cloud VPN management, hosting, backup and imaging tools.
• Troubleshooting of hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• CCNA certification (advantageous).
