IT Infrastructure Manager – Deputy Manager (IT)

About the role

The university seeks a Deputy Manager – Information Technology to lead daily operations of its IT infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, performance, and security of servers, networks, storage, and end‑user devices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of servers, networks, storage, and workstations.
• Monitor system health, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Design, implement, and test data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Enforce IT security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Manage user access controls and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
• Lead infrastructure projects, develop plans, track progress, and control budgets.
• Coordinate with departments to gather requirements and deploy enterprise applications such as ERP and HRMS.
• Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and evaluate service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or PMP.
