About the role
The Junior Production Engineer will support safe and efficient shift operations at the Cornwala plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Post shift production data and dispatches in SAP, manage manpower, and achieve quality and quantity targets.
- Monitor lab results, coordinate with shift chemist on non‑conformances, and ensure proper material supply from stores.
- Check performance of process equipment, oversee maintenance, and maintain housekeeping.
- Drive process improvements, study technologies, and support continuous innovation.
- Enforce safety protocols, use PPE, and deliver EHS training.
Required profile
- B.Sc/B.E in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Good manufacturing literacy, knowledge of instrumentation, DCS/SLC operation, and GMP/HACCP procedures.
- Ability to handle labor, troubleshoot plant issues, and follow safety and environmental guidelines.
Required skills
- SAP for production reporting.
- DCS/SLC operation and instrumentation knowledge.
- Understanding of GMP and HACCP standards.
- Basic knowledge of safety and environmental compliance.
