Lab Engineer – Power Systems Lab

About the role

The Lab Engineer will support the Energy & Power Systems Lab director in delivering laboratory sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, functional lab environments for undergraduate courses.

Key responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and assess labs in Power System Protection, Electrical Machines, and Power System Analysis.
• Deliver lab content and supervise labs for assigned courses.
• Procure, design, develop, and calibrate lab equipment and modules.
• Operate, maintain, and manage inventory of lab equipment and consumables.
• Prepare technical specifications for new or upgraded equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare and grade laboratory examinations.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from an HEC‑recognized university with minimum CGPA 3.0.
• Fresh graduates or final‑year students (final transcripts required at joining).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Power System Protection.
• Knowledge of Electrical Machines.
• Knowledge of Power System Analysis.
