Lady Health Visitor

About the role

BrightSpyre is recruiting a Lady Health Visitor in Killasaifullah. The role covers antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, reproductive health and safe delivery, working closely with community mobilizers and Community Welfare Committees.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver antenatal care (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC)
• Support family planning counseling and service provision, and provide post-abortion care (PAC) and general reproductive health support
• Promote safe delivery practices and facility-based childbirth
• Refer women and girls showing signs of mental distress to facility-based psychologists, and refer others to Women-Friendly Spaces, GBV, legal aid and psychosocial care
• Take part in group counselling sessions, awareness campaigns and referrals from Community Welfare Committees
• Educate women during check-ups on nutrition, breastfeeding, newborn care, menstrual hygiene and safe practices
• Support distribution and tracking of Clean Delivery Kits, newborn baby kits and ANC/PNC/PAC supplies
• Maintain accurate client records and enter data in patient registers
• Contribute to service utilization reports, client satisfaction surveys and data quality audits

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience conducting surveys and data collection in the reproductive health or family planning sector
• Ability to work with community mobilizers and community committees
