Lead Healthcare Business Analyst & QA Lead

About the role

The Lead Healthcare Business Analyst / QA Lead will bridge healthcare operations and software development, ensuring that EMR/EHR and revenue cycle management features meet clinical, billing, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team, assign tasks, and act as the primary subject‑matter expert on RCM and EHR.
• Conduct stakeholder engagements, workflow analysis, and produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate US healthcare regulatory requirements (MU/Promoting Interoperability, MIPS, ONC certification, HIPAA) into product specifications.
• Document full‑cycle billing requirements from registration to collections and address claim denials.
• Own QA processes for healthcare features, including test planning, test case design, defect triage, and UAT coordination.
• Maintain traceability from user stories to test cases and sign off releases before deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics or related field.
• 4‑5+ years of experience in business analysis or healthcare IT, with deep knowledge of RCM and EHR workflows.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage QA activities.
• Experience with US healthcare compliance programs and regulatory reporting.

Required skills

• EMR/EHR modules, clinical workflow knowledge, and interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR, C‑CDA, USCDI).
• QA tools and test management (Jira/Xray, Zephyr, TestRail) and testing frameworks (Inferno, Cypress).
• Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira for backlog management.
• Understanding of ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS coding and practice management systems.
