Lead Instructor, Cybersecurity Specialization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead Instructor to deliver an intensive, hands‑on specialization program in Karachi. The role focuses on practical labs, simulations and real‑world scenarios rather than traditional lectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead live, on‑site cybersecurity classes and deliver practical instruction across core concepts, tools and workflows.
• Conduct hands‑on labs, demonstrations, exercises and security simulations, guiding individual and team projects.
• Mentor learners on technical challenges, career pathways, certifications and industry expectations.
• Review assignments, labs, assessments and final projects, providing structured feedback.
• Ensure curriculum remains current, practical and aligned with real‑world cybersecurity roles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, penetration testing or related fields.
• Prior teaching, corporate training, mentoring or technical workshop experience is preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to learners of varying experience levels.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, outcomes‑focused learning environment and available for regular on‑site sessions in Karachi.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Splunk, ELK, Kali Linux, Nessus, Wazuh and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Knowledge of networking and network security, Linux and Windows security, SIEM and log analysis, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing fundamentals, web application security, threat detection and incident response, digital forensics, cloud security, IAM and security monitoring.
