About the role

Saif Leather is looking for skilled leather jacket stitching karigars to join its production team in Karachi. The role is hands-on and suits craftspeople who assemble leather garments with care, consistency and attention to finish, turning prepared leather panels into well-constructed jackets that meet design and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Stitch leather jacket components and panels according to patterns, specifications and production instructions.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and choose suitable settings, needles and techniques for leather.
• Check seams, alignment, fit and finishing at each stage and correct defects where possible.
• Handle leather pieces carefully to avoid marks, damage or waste.
• Coordinate with cutting, finishing and quality staff to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow safe machine-operation practices.

Required profile

• Practical experience stitching leather garments, especially jackets, or closely related products.
• Dependable, comfortable with repetitive precision work and able to meet daily production schedules.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and precision when joining panels, pockets, sleeves, linings and seams.
• Knowledge of stitches, thread handling, machine tension and needle selection for leather.
• Awareness of safe machine operation and a tidy, organised workstation.
