Linux & Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

The Senior Linux & Infrastructure Administrator will manage Tasdeeq's enterprise server and infrastructure environment, focusing on RHEL Linux, Nginx load balancers, VMware virtualization, and enterprise storage. The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support across production and disaster‑recovery sites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot production RHEL Linux servers, including OS installation, patching, user management, LVM, SELinux and firewalld configuration.
• Manage Nginx load balancers on RHEL VMs: configure upstreams, SSL/TLS certificates, health checks and resolve HTTP errors.
• Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere environments: create and configure VMs, manage resources and troubleshoot performance.
• Support Dell enterprise SAN/storage: understand LUNs, RAID, multipathing, monitor capacity and resolve connectivity issues.
• Participate in backup, disaster‑recovery planning, testing and documentation.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash/Shell scripting and basic Ansible, and monitor infrastructure health.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience, preferably with RHEL.
• Demonstrated experience with Nginx, VMware and enterprise storage solutions.

Required skills

• RHEL/Linux administration, RPM/YUM/DNF package management.
• Nginx configuration, SSL/TLS certificate handling.
• VMware ESXi/vSphere virtualization.
• Dell SAN/storage concepts (LUN, RAID, multipathing).
• Bash/Shell scripting; basic Ansible knowledge.
• SELinux, firewalld, LVM, SSH/SFTP.
