Local SEO Specialist (GBP + Link Building)

About the role

A growing digital marketing agency in Lahore is hiring an on-site Local SEO Specialist to own Google Business Profile performance and off-page authority for its local-business and e-commerce clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, verify and fully optimise Google Business Profiles (categories, services, products, attributes, Q&A, photos, booking links)
• Run weekly GBP posts, review-response workflows and review-generation campaigns
• Build and clean NAP citations across major directories and aggregators
• Track local rankings with grid/geo-rank tools and report monthly on calls, directions and website clicks
• Diagnose and recover suspended or restricted profiles
• Plan and run monthly link-building campaigns (guest posts, niche edits, digital PR, resource links, local sponsorships), vetting prospects for relevance, traffic and spam score, with no PBNs or link farms
• Maintain outreach pipelines and a link inventory per client
• Work with the content and web teams on landing pages and on-page fixes

Required profile

• 1-4 years of hands-on local SEO for international (US/CA/AU) clients
• Proven GBP results you can show (before/after ranking grids, call volume)
• Good written English for outreach emails and client reports
• Comfortable working evening hours overlapping North American time
• Nice to have: multi-location and medical/dental clients, basic WordPress/Shopify on-page skills, Schema markup (LocalBusiness)
