Logistics Manager – Last Mile Delivery (Personal Care/Health Care)

About the role

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead last‑mile delivery operations for a personal care and health‑care client. The role focuses on a cash‑on‑delivery model, aiming to maximise buy‑out rates, streamline delivery processes and ensure seamless coordination between couriers, confirmation operators and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily order volume between internal couriers and third‑party partners, optimizing for buy‑out rate, speed and reliability.
• Prepare and adjust daily route sheets, building efficient delivery sequences and reacting quickly to changes.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as buy‑out rate, delivery success, return rate and SLA compliance.
• Manage confirmation operators: distribute orders, ensure timely outbound calls, enforce scripts and verify address and timing data.
• Control order processing timelines, preventing delays, losses or unprocessed orders.
• Analyse non‑buy‑out and return reasons, work with couriers and operators to reduce cancellations.
• Negotiate delivery rates with external partners, optimise cost per delivery and replace under‑performing vendors.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high operational discipline.
• Experience in logistics, e‑commerce or last‑mile delivery, preferably in the personal care/health‑care sector.
• Proven team‑management skills for operators and couriers.
• Ability to detect and respond quickly to delivery risks such as low buy‑out, delays or fraudulent performance.
