Maintenance Associate

About the role

The Maintenance Associate will support the Operations & Maintenance team by ensuring all utility equipment runs reliably and efficiently. Working on‑site at the Tapal Tea office, you will carry out inspections, preventive tasks, and breakdown repairs while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily physical inspections of all utility equipment and submit inspection reports.
• Execute the preventive maintenance schedule and keep records up‑to‑date in SAP.
• Guarantee zero downtime for critical assets such as generators, solar systems, compressors, hoist lifts, cargo lifts, blending and ventilation units, and air‑conditioning systems.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and document all activities for utility equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise outsourced maintenance and emergency breakdown support.
• Maintain complete hard‑copy and digital records of generators and compressors.
• Implement TIMS procedures and monitor compliance with SOPs.
• Take proactive safety measures for personnel and equipment.
• Keep material handling equipment (MHE) fully operational.
• Provide daily task reports and feedback to the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist in training and developing technicians.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical or similar industries.
• Proven ability to work with utility and plant equipment.
