Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

About the role

Haleon is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep its pharmaceutical production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining automation and control systems in blister and solid dosage manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with engineering, GMP and EHS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation and control equipment for blister and solid dosage lines.
• Maintain compliance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and document all activities.
• Replace or adjust small machine parts such as sensors, valves and controllers during maintenance.
• Supervise and address complaints from solid and blister manufacturing areas.
• Execute the planned maintenance (PM) schedule and share observations with the Operational Maintenance Lead.
• Assist maintenance engineers with machine breakdowns and support new project installations, commissioning and training.
• Provide input for machine upgrades and performance improvements.
• Support OEE program implementation and data collection.
• Participate in IQ/OQ activities and prepare daily maintenance logbooks.

Required profile

• DAE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1‑5 years of engineering experience in a pharma or FMCG environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive‑maintenance skills.
• Good knowledge of EHS, quality and engineering standards.
