Management Accountant – Finance & Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join our client HR Business Solutions in Islamabad. The role will own the month‑end close, deliver accurate management accounts and provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and perform detailed variance analysis.
• Own the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and financial models; act as a business partner to operational and commercial teams.
• Manage Pakistan tax compliance (WHT, sales tax, corporate income tax) and liaise with tax authorities and auditors.
• Maintain strong financial controls, monitor changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities to streamline reporting.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting within an industry‑based finance function.
• Solid knowledge of Pakistan tax regulations and FBR portal compliance.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
• Proficiency in building financial models.
