Management Trainee – HR Systems and Analytics

About the role

Cybernet is hiring a Management Trainee for its Human Capital Management (HCM) division, based at the Head Office in Karachi. The role contributes to digital transformation in HR by supporting HR systems, building people analytics and business intelligence solutions, automating HR processes and exploring AI-driven solutions. It is a full-time, onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Support the administration and improvement of the HRMS to ensure reliability, data integrity and a good user experience.
• Gather business requirements, document functional specifications and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on HR system enhancements and implementations.
• Support integrations of HR systems with internal and third-party applications via APIs and other automation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, prepare system documentation, identify issues and help deploy new HRMS features.
• Develop Python-based automation solutions to reduce manual HR work.
• Build and maintain HR dashboards and reports with Power BI, Advanced Excel and other BI tools.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality checks; use statistical and correlation analysis on HR metrics.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance and business stakeholders on technology-driven HR projects.
• Monitor HR system performance, resolve issues with vendors and internal teams, and research emerging HR technologies and AI applications.

Required profile

• 0-1 year of relevant experience in HR systems, HR analytics, business intelligence, HR technology or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, and ability to handle several assignments at once.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate Python for automation, data analysis and API integration.
• Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, dashboards and advanced formulas.
• Basic Power BI dashboard and report development.
• Familiarity with HRMS/ERP platforms (administration, configuration, testing).
• Knowledge of AI tools applied to HR processes and workflow automation.
