Manager Balance Sheet Management

About the role

The Manager Balance Sheet Management will support senior management and the Assets & Liabilities Committee (ALCO) by delivering accurate reporting, risk monitoring and regulatory compliance. This role is central to the bank’s balance‑sheet oversight, ensuring Basel III standards and liquidity policies are applied effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present reports to senior management and ALCO on balance‑sheet performance and operational risk.
• Understand and support the implementation of the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) mechanism.
• Report operational risk issues, losses and conduct quarterly stress‑testing exercises.
• Implement Basel III guidelines related to capital and liquidity, and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly contractual, behavioural and repricing gap analyses.
• Maintain comprehensive records for Key Control Sampling Assessment (KCSA) activities and identify control weaknesses.
• Act as the operational‑risk coordinator for the section, tracking macro‑environment changes relevant to ALCO discussions.
• Perform daily balance‑sheet and trial‑balance reviews, ensuring data accuracy through cross‑department coordination.
• Monitor limits, flag exceptions to senior management, and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
• Support the Financial Controller and CFO with recovery and resolution planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of balance‑sheet management, fund transfer pricing and Basel III requirements.
• Experience in operational risk reporting and stress‑testing within a banking environment.
• Ability to prepare detailed regulatory and internal reports for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and control assessment.
