Manager Costing - Textile

About the role

A leading textile organization with processing, made-ups and garments units is looking for a Manager Costing to strengthen its financial and operational efficiency. The role covers cost accounting across all three divisions and reporting to management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and manage cost accounting systems across processing, made-ups and garments divisions
• Prepare pre-cost, post-cost and cost saving reports for management decisions
• Monitor material consumption, labour efficiency and overhead allocation
• Coordinate with production, procurement and merchandising teams for cost data validation
• Keep costing modules in the ERP system up to date and fully used
• Review product cost structures periodically and recommend improvements
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 5-10 years of costing experience in the textile sector (processing, made-ups, garments)

Required skills

• Strong command of ERP-based costing systems, preferably SAGE 300
• Advanced analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
