Manager Distributor Payments

About the role

The Manager Distributor Payments leads the digitisation of the entire payments value chain across the supply‑chain ecosystem in Pakistan. Reporting to senior leadership, this role owns a nationwide portfolio, drives organisational growth, and heads a cross‑regional team to bring digital payment solutions to distributors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase adoption of digital payment solutions among distributors and suppliers in FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals and beverages.
• Lead prospecting, onboarding, and relationship‑building activities, providing training and support for a smooth transition to digital payments.
• Partner with large manufacturers and principals to secure top‑down alignment for digital payment adoption.
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure seamless integration of merchants along the payment value chain.
• Collaborate with internal product teams to design and improve solutions tailored to supply‑chain stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, and optimise payment process efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support to field teams during implementation phases.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of progressive experience in business development, channel management or related roles within the supply‑chain domain.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results.
• Experience in FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals or beverage industries is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and strategic thinking abilities.
