Manager, Finance

About the role

Contour Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. and a global enterprise software conglomerate, is seeking a Manager, Finance for a business in its Gemini Portfolio. The role leads a finance team, oversees month-end and quarter-end close, manages full-cycle accounting and assists with FP&A and a new ERP implementation. It is based in Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in maintaining accurate financials, including month-end and quarter-end close and full-cycle accounting
• Oversee AR aging and reporting, billings and collections data, accruals, deferrals and revenue classification per CSI policies
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, manage payables and treasury (cash receipts, bank reconciliations, collections)
• Manage fixed assets and train and supervise the finance team, including goal setting and performance reviews
• Review customer contracts and assess IFRS 15 impact for month-end entries
• Assist with FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, with a focus on recurring revenue (subscription, maintenance, renewals)
• Prepare monthly management reports and track KPIs such as recurring revenue, churn and retention
• Play a key role in implementing a new ERP, including process design, data migration, testing and user training
• Use tools to automate financial reporting and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in a leadership role including team management
• Proven experience leading month-end and quarter-end close and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting, preferably in a recurring revenue environment
• Strong understanding of accounting guidelines, particularly IFRS
• Ability to manage competing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Professional accounting designation required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
• Working knowledge of a large ERP; Microsoft Dynamics / D365 F&O is a plus
• Knowledge of compliance reporting for debt financing arrangements is a nice to have
