Senior Manager - Quality Inspection

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Manager for Quality Inspection in its IFS Risk & Quality practice in Karachi. The role sits within the firm's System of Quality Management (SoQM) engagement monitoring and focuses on reviewing audit work so that quality is improved before the final report is issued.

Key responsibilities

• Execute engagement reviews and give partners and engagement teams timely coaching and expert support during the execution phase.
• Independently assess audit documentation, identify thematic issues and drive improvements across engagements.
• Manage strict timelines and help resolve complex issues quickly.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members, leveraging their strengths and managing performance to meet client expectations.
• Review audit files for compliance with ISAs, PwC methodology and local laws and regulations.
• Take ownership of projects, covering planning, budgeting, execution and completion.
• Partner with team leadership on quality, timelines and deliverables, and mentor others through work reviews.
• Handle conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate, while upholding professional standards, the code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Demonstrated experience in audit and assurance practices.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
