Manager Internal Controls

About the role

The Manager Internal Controls leads the design, monitoring, testing and digitisation of internal control processes across Jazz. Reporting to the Head of Internal Controls & Risk Management, the role ensures the control framework is effective and supports a culture of compliance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust internal control processes and procedures.
• Monitor existing controls, recommend improvements and conduct comprehensive testing.
• Digitise control processes to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate controls seamlessly.
• Support management self‑assessment (MSA) of internal controls.
• Resolve on‑the‑spot control issues and coordinate annual SOX scoping and testing with external auditors.
• Assist finance and accounts teams in digital initiatives, data analytics and robotics to enhance efficiency while maintaining control.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience designing, monitoring or testing internal controls.
• ACCA, ACA or a Master’s degree from a recognised institute.
• Strong understanding of ICRM functional requirements and its linkage with finance functions.
• Hands‑on experience with SOX regulations and related controls.
• Familiarity with ERP solutions such as Oracle or SAP and the embedded controls.
• Experience preparing risk and control matrices, process maps, SOPs and control testing plans for digital environments.
• Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and high integrity.
