Manager (IP Edge Back Office) – North Region

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking a Manager to lead the IP Edge Back Office operations for its broadband network in the North region of Pakistan. The role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted broadband, IPTV, multicast, and voice services through effective network management and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operations, maintenance, performance, and availability of the IP Edge Broadband network.
• Enhance network reliability by increasing uptime and reducing downtime.
• Implement redundancy, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring to ensure service availability.
• Optimize network processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Oversee end‑to‑end service delivery for MPLS, broadband, and corporate services.
• Maintain fault‑free operations and achieve maximum uptime for broadband and data‑center systems.
• Apply best‑practice methodologies and modern IT tools in the Broadband Core Network domain.
• Promote team development through training, collaboration, and communication.

Required profile

• Graduation in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and IP‑based infrastructure.

Required skills

• Routing, switching, and MPLS‑based protocols.
• OSPF, ISIS, and BGP VPNs.
• Network monitoring and fault‑resolution tools.
• TCP/IP and IP‑based network infrastructure knowledge.
