Materials Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Planner to ensure 100 % supply of materials for Reckitt’s in‑house factory and its copackers in Pakistan. The role supports the production plan by managing inbound material flow, inventory levels and supply‑chain risks.

Key responsibilities

• Validate master production schedules for each production value stream.
• Manage and improve inbound material flow from local and imported suppliers to meet production plans.
• Identify and implement alternative order patterns and replenishment techniques with purchasing.
• Monitor supply capacity, mitigate vulnerabilities and support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) supply review.
• Provide analysis on material availability, shipment schedules and commitment deviations.
• Coordinate with customs authorities and internal stakeholders for timely material release.
• Optimize raw‑material and packaging‑material stock holdings and ensure inventory aligns with production horizons.
• Maintain material order management in line with established processes and systems.
• Review and keep planning master data up‑to‑date to ensure robustness of MRP/Planning systems.
• Own material lifecycle, manage obsolescence and reduce write‑offs.

Required profile

• Experience in material planning or supply‑chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess material availability and supply risks.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, including customs and suppliers.
• Knowledge of inventory optimisation and stock‑holding principles.
