Mechanical Workshop Technician – Faisalabad

About the role

Munck Civil Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Workshop Technician to join the Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Faisalabad. You will be responsible for keeping all project vehicles, machinery and tools in safe, reliable and efficient condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular mechanical maintenance on construction and heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, generators and pumps.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions for precise maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records of all repair and maintenance activities.
• Address urgent breakdowns independently while prioritising tasks under pressure.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
• Follow health and safety regulations and recommend preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy construction machinery.
• Ability to work independently and handle urgent breakdowns.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
