Mobile Application Developer (Android & iOS) - 4-Month Contract

About the role

KAVAK, the leading e-commerce platform for buying and selling pre-owned vehicles in Latin America, is expanding into the Middle East and is hiring a Mobile Application Developer for a 4-month full-time remote contract. The position is open only to candidates based in Pakistan. You will build a new React Native app for iOS and Android, turning the team's architectural direction into a polished, production-ready app.

Key responsibilities

• Build the new React Native app for iOS and Android, working closely with the team that sets the architecture and technical direction.
• Turn the design into a production-ready app by building features end to end.
• Write tests and take releases through the App Store and Google Play.
• Shape how thousands of buyers bid on cars.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile development, including 3+ years with React Native and TypeScript.
• At least two apps shipped to both the App Store and Google Play.
• Experience owning an app's full lifecycle, from setup to production support.
• Working knowledge of iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) for modules.
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets or similar), push notifications and deep linking.
• Strong habits in testing, performance and mobile security.
• Clear communication in English.
