Network and Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Network & Systems Engineer in the Technical Assistance Center, you will support and optimise customer network and IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure service delivery. You will work closely with customers, internal teams and technology partners, handling incidents through email, phone and remote sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier‑2 technical support while meeting defined SLAs.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot network devices from Cisco, Ubiquiti, Ribbon and related vendors.
• Use monitoring tools such as Zabbix and NetBox to track performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Deploy and maintain VoIP phones, Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR appliances and related services.
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Hyper‑V) and Microsoft server technologies (Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, SQL Server).
• Maintain Google Workspace, print servers and other enterprise applications.
• Document network diagrams, technical records and produce status reports for customers.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in network or systems administration, technical support or a similar role.
• CCNA and MCSA/MCSE (or equivalent) certifications.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VPNs and network troubleshooting.
