About the role
The Nursing Instructor will join Shalamar Nursing College in Lahore to plan, deliver and evaluate both classroom and clinical teaching for nursing students, ensuring compliance with institutional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Supervise student practice in clinical settings and assess performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
- Participate in curriculum review and serve on academic committees.
- Mentor students and collaborate with clinical and academic teams to improve nursing education quality.
Required profile
- BSN or MSN (or equivalent) with valid professional nursing registration.
- Prior teaching or clinical preceptorship experience.
- Strong communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, lifelong learning and research‑informed teaching.
Required skills
- Curriculum development and evaluation.
- Knowledge of medicine and critical care medicine for clinical decision‑making.
