About the role

Liaquat National Hospital and Medical College is hiring an Occupational Therapist. The therapist works under the supervision of the Senior Occupational Therapist, carrying out treatment programmes and supporting patients' recovery.

Key responsibilities

Perform the initial functional restoration assessment.
Implement treatment procedures designed by the Senior Occupational Therapist.
Execute treatment programmes covering motor function, facilitation techniques and self-care skills.
Prepare reports and build therapeutic relationships with registrars and residents.
Assist in applying assistive devices and splints.
Help with non-clinical tasks such as record keeping, documentation, working with vocational clients and maintaining the therapy area.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with one year of internship at Liaquat National Hospital or another organisation as a trainee occupational therapist.
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Required skills

Proficiency with software systems used to manage patient records.
